The George Inn Rooms - Room 6

Very unpleasant over priced place to stay Positive: Nothing Negative: Pokey cramped room (nothing like the picture on the listing). Awkward, badly lit access up external steel steel stairs, also not mentioned in the listing. On entering the room (room 6) first impression was the smell of dog. Room not particularly clean.....check out the cobwebs around the window. Sash window has a cracked pane and doesn't close properly. And to wrap it all up, Loud live rock music from the pub banging up through the floor until after 11pm and then when that finally finished had another couple of hours of very loud pubgoers drinking singing and shouting below our door and broken window. We will be regular visitors to this area but will absolutely not consider staying here again.

Un salto in un mondo da favola e di altri tempi: esattamente quello che cercavamo! Positive: Splendida esperienza, camera piena di charme ed accogliente, comoda e spaziosa! Negative: Considerando che non c’è la colazione, metterei istruzioni chiare per la troppo difficile la macchinetta del caffè, non ho capito come si usasse!

Short and perfectly suitable for a stop over. Positive: Very clean and comfortable Negative: Tricky to find but clear instructions were given so just have to follow them.

Ok for a night but expensive for what you get. Positive: Good location in the centre of the village and good parking Negative: No staff, and the room was way too hot but there was no way to turn the temperature down and the windows were locked shut. Fittings also quite cheap - the bathroom towel rail kept falling off.
