Really lovely, cosy, modern, very convenient, comfortable and well organised cabin Positive: the whole cabin is really lovely, practical, functional, very well decorated, the hosts accept our dog, there is a hot tub that is very easy to operate, a private garden and driveway Negative: it was a little expensive but we gather the area is very upmarket

NOT VALUE FOR MONEY, THE VIEW IS NOT ENOUGH TO JUSTIFY THE PRICE Positive: The view of the river from bed Negative: the garden needs more lighting during the night it’s too dark, none of the external lights were charged the jacuzzi was luke warm at best and the owner was aware of this sending us difficult instructions to follow when they could have just pre set it higher before a guests arrival The main entrance gate is old, dangerous and on a very busy main road this needs updating to include an external light. Its unsafe and not viable to reach the village during the evening by foot as it’s a pitch black street with no lightning and small pavement, very unsafe! Toilet seat is broken and full of rust. The indoor walls are full of cracks . Outside area , the front of the lodge main door is full of dust, cobwebs & Spiders, whilst we appreciate this is outside in the country it takes 5 minutes to give it a clean before a guest arrives which clearly haddnt been done in a long time No lighter/ coal supplied for BBQ or outside, the advised to buy our own from the garage or shops we walked in the village going to 5 different stoes none of which had anything, this was very frustrating, it would have cost the owners next to nothing to supply these items for guests! The Lodge has no welcome pack not even a bottle of water, your advised to drink from the tap, they do however have a nespresso machine but instead of supplying the pods they offered a jar of instant coffee, very cheap ! £1,200 for 3 night midweek mini break is not value for money nor is it luxury accommodation its a shame as just a little more attention to detail would make it lovely middle light over island in kitchen also not working . Was given a request to leave as we found including clearing cutlery etc even though extra charges had already been added already for cleaning !! if you advertise as luxury & charge as if it is then thats what you expect - We were very dissapointed especially after being so excited to come and stay I would suggest either you upgrade or lower your price accordingly

Perfect getaway for couple. Positive: We stayed here for the 1st having been to Henley multiple times previously. This property is stunning. Everything you need across a weekend, views from the cabin of the river are stunning and its location is great for walking into town.
